GRAPHIC DESIGNS

Hire or commission me to make your designs today! I created these designs with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Firefly AI for various projects.

Who wouldn’t want to be Thor summoning lightning for their treasure plundering at a Casino slot machine? This game art and animation was made for Slot machines. After sketching up the concepts, I created all the game’s graphic designs with Adobe Illustrator. To see more of Thor’s Thunder Plunder, check out the Casino Game Art Page.

Tynker has taught over 60 million kids from Kindergarten through High School how to code with games, projects, and lessons.  In addition to characters, animations, assets, and many other responsibilities, I also produced a multitude of vibrant, sleek, and adorable designs that Tynker used in games, promotions, ads, social media, print, website, tutorials, emails, and even User Interfaces. © Tynker

Some of the most striking designs were Thumbnail Cards used to promote Tynker’s games.  These thumbnails were often the first visual links users would see before entering a game, so they needed to stand out.  A combination of original art, edited stock art, text designs, and AI-generated backgrounds were used to make the final art style with Illustrator. I worked closely with the Art Director to be sure all Thumbnail Cards created by the Art Team shared a similar look and feel.

Although Tynker primarily generates revenue through their web and mobile platforms, they venture out into many other mediums as well. One of these mediums is ebooks.  I’ve chosen to show their youthful and fun Code This micro:bit! eBook, which I enjoyed producing all the art and designs for with Illustrator. The writer, Art Director, and I worked in tandem to achieve a cohesive style across the entire publication. Micro:bit is a simple pocket computer designed to teach coding to young kids.

Besides the games that Tynker includes with their plans, they also provide a myriad of lessons, including Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.  They wanted me to use a previous style and upgrade it with better art.   So I had to use the same colors and design style, then inject it with a new techy look and feel. The Art Director helped me with this as well, and then I expanded upon his initial mockup to create a broader style.
