ABOUT

Please CONTACT ME if you’re interested in hiring or commissioning me!

Hi! I’m Chris Clark, a professional graphic artist, illustrator, animator, and designer. I focus on 2D characters, game art, animation, illustration, and have extensive experience in design and apparel as well.  I also have some experience with 3D programs and other design and video editing software.  As a Lead Artist, I’ve had to wear many hats over the years, and I have a background in teams, as a lead, or working solo. I currently reside in Des Moines Iowa, and I’m comfortable with working remotely.  I’m very passionate about art, writing, and music…I just love to make anything and use my imagination. It brings me so much joy to see my ideas, or a client’s ideas, come to life. Especially if they love it!

First, the most important part of my life: I have a wonderful daughter, son, and adorable old German shepherd-corgi mix. Besides that, I’m a big gamer, Trekkie, standup comedy, music, and animation fan if you ever want to nerd out about those. I’m also a big fan of fantasy, sci-fi, books, comics, manga, cartoons, and children’s books. I freaking love anything to do with dragons, so you know I’m a D&D, GoT, and LotR fan and go to the Ren Faire every year! As an extrovert, I love to get out and spend time with people in my free time. I love to learn, so I’m constantly watching science, history, philosophy, and psychology content. Staying active is also important to me, so I get out to do things like hiking, pickleball, yoga, working out, and drumming. Now you know I’m a real human, and not an AI-generated robot sent to destroy humanity! Or do you?…
