My Mission.

I created this for my “Finding Purpose” class at ASU, and I could have slacked off with it, but I decided to put a lot of thought into it and make it a serious long-lasting Mantra for my life.  The Finding Purpose class is run by PHD Psychologist William Heywood who basically gives us tools

Zombie Bird Pinata – in a Museum!

This monstrous beast of a bird was concocted a couple years ago for my first 3D sculpture class.  I originally made it with another student partner (whose bird was a pretty little thing) which my demonoid creation was stalking for a midnight snack.  All the feathers are real ostrich feathers that my partner donated too

Final Blog Contest Winner Sketch

Time for the last Blog Contest Winner’s character sketch.  This one kind of reminds me a little of Hermoine Granger from Harry Potter.  The character is named Cassie, and was concocted by the mind of Brooke at Paper Mountain brookerbusse.blogspot.com.  She is a sassy purple-eyed teenager who loves to lecture, but still has enough sense of

2 More Contest Winners

Another round of contest winners, wahoo!  Bear in mind these are all teen-adventure/fantasy books that these contest winners have won so all of the characters are teenagers. First is Tenny, a character created by Jeigh @ writerbrained.blogspot.com, she’s a shy naive girl next door. Second is Grey, Bess’s character from bessweatherby.com, he’s an awkward but

Blog Contest Winners

My lovely Jess has put on a contest recently on her blog  at concretepiecesofsoul.blogspot.com.  There were 3 winners, and each of them won a free sketch!  You could win a free sketch too if you follow me or Jess, but for now check back to see the next 2 sketches that are to come. This

Final round of free sketches

Once again I did some free sketches for getting over 100 watchers on Deviant Art (109 as I’m writing this, yay) so I’ve been giving away sketches to whoever requests something. This last round was for Catelyn Stark from the George RR Martin Game of Thrones series, and on the bottom is Roxas from the

Requests for celebrating over 100 watchers on Deviant Art

I’m currently doing free sketch requests on Deviant Art to celebrate having over 100 watchers (a.k.a. followers)  These are the first 2 I’ve done so far, enjoy!  If you want to swing by DA, go to http://stoskri.deviantart.com

Fairies again!?

So apparently I’m in the middle of a fairy funk.  I genuinely had no intentions of drawing any more fairies, but my fiance liked my last fairy so much she wanted me to make a couple of fairies having their wedding dance (yea, I know, sappy as hell and totally opposite of the muscley barbaric

Dark Fairy Nyxie

Not all fairies are cute and friendly… some are out for blood. The Nyxie are dark fairies who breed in densely packed rott-weed. They are mischievous, devious, and seductive, but if you fall for their cutesy ruse, you will die within seconds from their poison tipped thorns. Decided to start experimenting with some “comic book”

Tibetan Monestary Hillside

A Tibetan Monastery on a beautiful hillside.  Took about 5 or 6 hours to paint because I was trying to move quick but haven’t done many landscapes, and this is the first digital landscape I’ve done.
